Hi. It seems that 2 new tents have been added to the website in the new fabric. The waterproof rating only says 350-400mm. That does not seem very waterproof or should it say 3500-4000? Cheers

This kind of fabric doesn't have a good waterproof ability. The rating is 350-400mm. So we don't suggest to use it in raining days.

It would be good to see a onetigris tent made for countries like the UK with poorer weather. For example a tent with a much higher waterproof rating (3500-5000mm) and that can be setup with inner attached and good for high wind. Can you imagine something like the cosimitto but with the poles running through external sleeves with the higher waterproof rating. That would be perfect. Just a thought .
Cheers

Onetigris do make great products however, some are probably unsuitable for 7 months of the year at least in England leading people to look at other manufacturers. Just a thought. Cheers

I see your point but also something smaller is needed and, is seems an inner should be provided as standard. That's my thought who wants to sleep on a moist floor.
Thanks

Unless it's made waterproof through some sorta waxing method a non waterproof tent isn't the best of ideas.
I love the color of the fabric and seems better suited to being used in a shirt or stretchy bandana or something like; though, again, if it's waxed it may be the best damn tent ever made, though I'm not familiar with waxing cloth and how they'd handle in field like settings and such it just seems like it'd be a good solution and keep the unit lightweight and manageable.
