i’ve probably watched every Jackie Chan and Jet Lee film ever made. I had a big Kung Fu phase haha

Its Jet Li.

I myself have also probably seen every Chan and Li movie out there. I would say 90% of my small DVD collection is Jet Li movies. I also have a large collection of burned Chan and Li movies.

I am looking forward also to IP Man 4 with Donnie Yen coming out soon.

No arguments here. I had the ghostbuster house with the ghost buster car, the Big sphere thing from TMNT, and van. I couldn’t even begin to list all my GI Joe stuff, I had a pretty impressive collection.
I still collect Joe. Have the 155 comic book set complete now. Started a facebook page for Joe a few months back. Few weeks ago I got an AGP to finish my 1988 Destro Iron Grenadier set. Had all of it when I was a kid but I gave all my toys away at one point. Over the last 10 years been collecting it all back. Getting close to having every figure between 82-89 minus repaints and have almost every vehicle I wanted back again. Down to about 30 figures to complete for my desired era.

I even go as far to make my own customs in which I loved my VAMP and Night Landing so made a trailer which led into making a base which isn't complete but parts of it are done. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...17081-custom-cobra-night-landing-trailer.html

Extra add ons for trailer which eventually will make a big base:

I actually had a lot of these. I think all I have left are the collection of cards but I’m pretty sure it’s complete.

Is this practical and can be used in real fighting?
I think knowing any martial arts is advantageous in a fight, but something like MMA or competition fighting will be different than defending your life against an attacker. JKD is very good for understanding the importance of distance, and timing. I feel it is adaptable for carrying a knife in terms of movement for entering and exiting for a strike. The more you know the more you can use, and adapt to your particular situation. This video here talks a lot about this specific mindset. I am a huge fan on “Tu Lam” from Ronin Tactics, he is an American hero, and expert in the deployment of realistic methodology.

Muay Thai Kickboxing
Brazillian Jui Jitsu or Roman-Greco wrestling
Krav Maga or some sort of weapons system like Kali or Silat.

I guess the point is to be well rounded, so you can understand how a person might attack you. You must constantly build data so your brain will know how to respond to things like pattern slashes, or grappling moves. If you don’t understand, or have the data to defend against certain attacks, then you have gaps in your training. It’s like muscles, you want to exercise all of them, or as many as possible.
