I have at least a dozen bags, backpacks, briefcases, slings, etc. I find that the bigger the bag the more I over stuff them, what’s your favorite edc? Looking for something not huge but big enough to carry winter gear and electronics.
For winter stuff I tend to go with my Osprey Atmos a 65l bag. My edc bag for the summer while working trails and even for urban adventures is the new and improved Clawhammer slingbag

Thanks, I’m trying to find a balance between “Apocalypse” and “Car broke down”.
I’d probably go for the 24 then. It’s big enough for an Apocalypse and small enough to fit in the boot of your car without taking up too much space 👍🏻

I use a backpack purchased from a department store. Blends in well, and has purpose built pockets for everything.I actually won’t buy a backpack that looks tactical as it isn’t practical for my use, and I feel it attracts attention.

This has been the thought of many I assume, since maxpedition recently put out a “grey man” bag. With all of the public terrorist acts happening wearing a tactical bag does give off a bad vibe in my opinion.
My kids play sports and I always have a ton of stuff to carry in and out, but doing it with a tactical bag I feel like it could send the wrong message.
Being tactical and looking tactical are two different things. I have an old Swiss gear Backpack that has been across the country on multiple trips. It’s been loaded with heavy tools and electronics to sometimes over 100#, but it has yet to fail me. It is huge though. A bit big for an edc.

they market it as a laptop or hydration bladder area, but It is very well padded, and definitely is designed the same as other CCW pockets. It also has two pockets on the back that make good CCW pockets. I feel like the guy who designed this may have owned a firearm lol.
