My partner got me this tent for my 40th birthday, although he secretly wanted it too! Anyway, I was meant to get it after our trip away but because I found it early he gave me it so already did a couple of nights in it and it's great, room for both of us and our gear.
It's a bit windy so excuse the mess it may look but it really is a great tent.

I modified it a bit as you will see in this video. Now I did state in the video it was completely my choice to do this, and myself nor One Tigris can be held responsible for safety, but I added a stove jack as I have a very small camping stove.
Because the weather was so warm when we were away in the tent we didn't use the stove in the tent.

Both absolutely love the tent, nice upgrade from the backwoods bungalow. Our camp and set up with the tent is also available on my youtube.

Cool modification to turn it into a hot tent but worry about the fabric getting ripped when it's stretched

Thanks. Ive since did a new review of the outback retreat as I put the poles on the inside with the very first review. So I found the pockets they go into on the outside, if that makes sense.
Brilliant tent and also worked great as a hot tent.
Here is the new review I did

And here is the actual camp with the tent as a hot tent. I have states as with the modification, it's purely my choice and myself not one tigris can be held responsible for the safety of anyone else. That's my wee disclaimer 😂

Looks quite awesome! Does it keep the tent inside warm? My colleague said it may melt the zipper. Did you meet this problem?
Hi, yes kept the tent warm. We did close the flap at one point and it was very warm so opened it again. All good though. I have ordered a fire blanket just as a precaution to put around the pipe and side of the stove just to be extra safe, but no it worked great, an very small stove is a must though. I'm looking at getting an even smaller one than I already have. The tent is still intact though and all good.
I'll be using the black orca again next camp just to mix it up but when there's 2 of us will use the outback retreat again.l
