I’ve seen a lot of people like to put a patch on their different pouches and I thought why not have them serve a purpose as well as look good. I suggest that OneTigris make a set of patches that would indicate what type of gear is in what pouch. There are two different directions that we could go on this.
First idea would be to have a symbol inside the OneTigris emblem. For example a flame surrounded by the tiger head for fire kits. A white cross surrounded by the tiger head for first aid. The other direction would be to have a white background and then the tiger head in different colours for different gear. Here is a suggestion or the color scheme:
Orange-Fire
Blue-Water
Green-Shelter
Red-First Aid
Yellow-light
Black-Navigation
Fishing-Grey
Food-Gold
Tools-Purple
These are just a suggestion for different categories and maybe some other members could voice some suggestions.

Good idea but personally I think we don't have to add branding elements within these patches. How about directly designing with the purpose of verious pouches? Take your listing of color as examples.

Color + Related Icon
Orange Fire
Blue Water
Green Shelter
Red First Aid
Yellow light
Black Navigation
Grey Fishing
Gold Food
Purple Tools

The aim of these patches is to tell people what the purpose of this pouch is. So the pattern should be simple and easy to be understood.

Do you mean just design a patch for each purpose and not worry about the One Tigris logo?

i believe that this product is already exist from Vanquest
I think it's different from the one you provided above, the idea from Dean is to make various patches which have words printed on it. We can recognize the pouch by the patch itself. While the one you showed more like a guide and need to match the color to find the related things.

If the case to make a new patch with items logos and names printed on it, it will a very good idea because once i start building my kits i was suffering by searching on like this patches i even Start to do my own designs so i can send it to someone to do it for me

Attached photo of very rough drawing of proposed patches. The design of the patch is pretty self explanatory so I’ll leave it up to 1TG whether you want the words included on the patch. An option would be to put 1TG on the patch do identify and promote OneTigris.

I roughed out six patches, let me know if you think there should be more.

Are there not pictograms that already exist for each of these - something like camping signs that may already exist? This will nake the image universally recognisable ...
Awesome idea btw!
