I was at the grocery store tonight and got an idea! We should create Shopping tote bags with a tactical style!

The new material Nick just bring on would be an awesome material for these bags! Lightweight, resistant, waterproof (you dont want to have that jug of milk spilled in the bottom of your trunk! (Or something like a heavy duty poncho material or 600D/1000D nylon) We could just fold it like most shopping tote bag or “fold and pack” it in a small sewed pocket on the bag (like a hammock bag) for more compactness!

Multicam material would make really nice looking shopping totes bags! You dont want a tiny shopping bag! You want a big bag (like the medium size Ikea style) with two nice coyote nylon strap that looks manly and when people look at these, they know you’re that cool tactical guy they don’t want to mess with! Everymens (and even cool womens) gonna want one (or more because you don’t need only one) and you’ll get a lot of question like: Where can i get that awesome bag!

Of course this item come with Onetigris logo on it! (Really nice advertising here) and you can easily use these for promos and “free gifts with purchase” item.

So... who wants a heavy duty “shopping tote bag” in a nice multicam pattern with a Tiger logo on it?

I mean...who wouldn’t want at least one? 😉 (I already want 4 of them!)

/:joyfulSo it is a tote bag for promotion when u guys go shopping u can show off to others like "hey look at my tote it's 1TG customers only", right? If we have one in the future, I will definitely be the first one to have that privilege to showing off way ahead before all of you, dont be jealous then hahaha!

I just finished my "first draw" about these bags... I made 2 models.

The first model is a big heavy duty shopping bag (24"x24"12")

The second model is a smaller folding tote bag (16"x18"x8"). Once folded, the bag (folded into the storage pocket fixed to bag) looks like a old frag grenade!

I've put some approximate dimensions on the bags to give you an idea of the size.

Just look at the drawing...

Why not intigrate the handles in the material to make it look all one piece?
The smaller bag is made this way, the bigger one need stronger handles since you gonna load it with more weight, i have both models and the bigger ones with integrared handles always tears. I have one with nylon strap webbing and it think this bag will last a lifetime!

Nice drawing corporal, so once the bag folded, it will become a "grenade" ? That's interesting! But I wonder whether it needs different material to create the "grenade" shape, I will forward this to Nick first to see how it could be made of

Pretty sure it could be the same material. If you look the first bag (the yellow one, i think it’s a lemon) on Sandspoor reply, it’s the same design than the small bag (grenade bag). The “grenade” (or lemon) is on the bottom left side and you pack the bag into this “pocket” to store it.

I see, we will discuss where this bag will be applied and who will use it. Personally I think if this could be a durable product that includes practical uses, we could even make it an individual product selling online, 'cause noticing that tote could have functions, I think there's a market.

Now that plastic shopping bags are in the ban in EU these kind of bags will explode in popularity, you should include this as a range!

Plastic shopping bags are also restricted here in China too. The only concern is that if it is JUST a shopping bag with normal design, common costumers will ignore it easily for there are too many choices! Now we are thinking about how to make this a shopping bag a bag worth buying haha:p

Make it so it attach to the bicycle carrier, make it with simple shoulder straps to carry. Make the handles that will not hurt your hands when it is laden heavy, But the best of all, make it to last!

It's not a "simple shopping bag", it's a camo shopping bag! I actually use these kind of bags for everything, shopping for sure, but also camping, at work to carry stuff, my kids use them to carry things at school, i always have one or two in my edc pack and something like 10 in my car trunk. Plastic bags are not banned here yet, but they charge between 0.05$ to 0.25$ per bag when you forget your bags (they're planning the ban end of 2018). It's something everybody use and most of them are ugly and break easily. I would actually replace all my shopping bags with these if i could just for the "tactical coolness factor"... It's an awesome "almost free" advertising and i'm pretty sure a lot of people will ask: "where did you find that?" I don't think you should try to "upgrade it" with a lot of "fla fla"..(maybe make anotehr model later), you want to keep them at low price, you want to sell a lot of them, if the price tag is low but the quality is great, people will "add on to cart" just for trying it and because they are cheap to buy (or when you need some more dollars to get that "free shipping") and once they tried it, they will love them because they are great and beautiful, not just like your wife "normal ugly bags"... If you make them to look like a "grenade" when stored, you know they will be awesome and i'll be the first to "throw it everywhere" yelling: "Fire in the hole!" (i know... i'm a big adult kid! :ROFLMAO:)

I actually have a heavy duty shopping bag mage from an old "camo rain poncho" and everywhere i go with it, i get compliments about how awesome it looks and the famous "where can i find one like this?" question.

And i think Onetigris whould expand their line of products by adding a "tactical lyfestyle" category (travel & tactical household items)! Everyone who is into tactical things would love to have these products, like "multicam placemats or tablecloth" or "tactical lunch mat" (see my other "design with us" thread.) , BBQ aprons (with beer holder for sure), oven mitts and even more! You could add to this category "toiletry bags, these shopping bag, easy drying towel, travel pillow, travel organiser pouch, even bed sheets and curtains if you will (my 12 years old son would love these for sure, i would love too if i was single, not sure my wife would like these in our bedroom!! hahaha) They will be more like "novelty items" but it would be a nice way to attract a lot of new customers who never heard about Onetigris before! ;)

When we lived in Seattle you had to buy bags like this to put your groceries in at most of the stores because they had already gone bag-less and they weren't cheap. The clip on piece is awesome because my wife never remembered ours so she was constantly having to buy more bags. When we moved from there we had like 100 grocery bags like the ones you've drawn. It was stupid. Several were made out of fabric. Those actually saved and still get used for other things. The others were used for groceries until the handles fell off. Seems like the bags were not meant to have a 30 pack of beer in them every time. Haha!!! What are you going to do?
