hi all

i always would like to have a cordura sheath with molle system for my knives that are a little bit oversized

and like the one in the top in the pic, it has to be hanged both ways belt-leg (vertical), only belt (horizontal)
and maybe a molle web on the front to put an EDC pouch or a little pochet for sharping stone or fire starter

There is an EDC multisheath going to production soon that Might be able to accommodate your needs. If you check the feeds and look through for EDC multisheath. I tested the prototype and was able to put my knives(with sheaths) inside the prototype.

i took a look at the post.. it doesn't match ith what i have in mind,

what i need is a specific knife sheath like the one i already have, and that you can see in the photo i've posted, it woul be perfect if it only has a bigger pocket on the front or a MOLLE on the front of it where i can attach a mag pouch for exemple..
that knife and its sheat comes from EXTREMA RATIO knives (italian brand, google it) i will post more pic so you will get of what i have in my mind

We did have a knife sheath idea before. But considering that the sizes of knives differs from one to other so much, we are still struggling with the size problem.

i was expecting this answer.. maybe you could make 3 size like M L and XL that could fit to most of the knives on the market, at least combat-bushcraft ones that has a "straight" blade.. obviusly a sheat for a BOWIE a MACHETE or a KUKRI is quite impossible as they all have different shapes of blade

but as you made tactical gear i guess that sheath with a survival pouch (candy tin sized) on it will be great

emmm I have to forward this idea to the designer first and do some research to see what kind of knives we could target at.

Wait...

If we get creative with memory foam or heat-foam we can make a sheath (or two) that can accommodate at least a few common sizes and shapes of knives.
I’m totally willing to work with you to find the right way to do this - I think it is an excellent idea 👍🏻

We've tested kydex before and found that it wasn't as durable as nylon. To make knife sheaths is tricky, besides size accommodation issues, such gear is difficult to produce here in China with CN laws and regulations.

Hey all, LOVE this idea, Where do you normally carry knives? I used to carry one on a shoulder strap on my pack but the sheath got lost with the knife? I have seen tactical / duty belts where there is a Horizontal Knife Sheath that lines up with the back / side of the belt. Just my 2 cents.
