Why Choose OneTigris FIRE WATCHER 2.0?
The FIRE WATCHER is a 1TG classic but it had its imperfections to begin with. The fit wasn’t as ideal as it should be and for some of the dogs it was like wearing a t-shirt after losing too much weight. We modified the structure and made some other improvements on hardware and stitchwork, thanks to the feedback from our fans and users, and now it’s ready to be reborn. Featuring a front chest piece that’s ergonomic and doesn’t hinder movement, rows of looped webbing for you to attach morale patches and MOLLE pouches, and a handy top grab handle with stainless steel D-rings to effectively control your dog. Show K9 power to the max with this awesome piece of kit.

OneTigris FIRE WATCHER Dog Harness
  • 1000D Nylon construction for durability and extra dirt/water/abrasion resistance
  • Buckled-bellyband-design that’s easy to strap on and to remove after use
  • MOLLE compatible for add-ons such as treat totes and poop bag holders
  • Stainless steel leash attachment points at the front chest for effective canine control
  • Top handle with a firm grip for maneuvering your pup away from trouble when needed
  • Patch panels at the front, top and two sides for all your badass patches
  • Reinforced stitching with quality UTX Duraflex® quick-release buckles for bracing your beast
  • Unique X-bungee design for extra tactical style and keeping patches in place
  • Soft and breathable mesh lining for extra comfort and good airflow
  • Light, soft padded, holds up and easy to dries quickly, ideal for trainings and outings
  • Upgraded structure after thorough testing to ensure a good fit and maximized comfort

TIPS
  • Always measure your dog before making a purchase!
  • Adjust the straps for dogs with narrow neck/mid sections so they don’t easily slip out of the harness when pulling backwards.
  • OneTigris harnesses are NOT designed to bear heavy weights and we advise against relying solely on the grab handles to carry your dog.
  • When loading up pouches for a dog harness or pack, for most dogs, 10% to 12% of their body weight is a good starting point for loading up dog packs. This would be 5-6lb for a 50lb dog, or 2.5-3kg for a 25kg dog. Of course, the right amount depends on a number of factors, such as your dog's breed, physical fitness, and energy level.
  • Take heed that it is against the law to misrepresent your pet as a service dog and violators are subject to prosecution.

1. Whether or not they have been a part of the OneTigris Gear Testing Program before?

Yes, we have tested for 1TG before, and we love our One Tigris products! Let me introduce myself and my canine companion. My name is Brielle, and I'm a 21 year old professional dog trainer (I train service dogs, police k9s, therapy dogs, sport dogs, and some pets in the program that I work for) who is also disabled. Arlo is my 1 year old multipurpose service dog, and he's a black and white tuxedo standard parti poodle. I've included a few photos of him that I have taken as well to show you the style of some of our work.

2. Other specifications?

We would LOVE to test out this harness because Arlo and I love tactical gear and it always works well for us and our needs. We tried out the original Firewatcher (a friend had it and we borrowed it for a few days), so we would be able to sort of compare the two.

3. How will you test the product(s)?

I will use the harness while Arlo is working and while he is not working for a few days after receiving it to test it out an formulate a review, and then I will create a post on our Instagram @the.service.starcloud https://www.instagram.com/the.service.starcloud/ with a review, as well as an over 10 minute video (likely a vlog where Arlo is wearing and using the collar while working) with a review and explanation of how the product works and what is great about it included in that video on our YouTube channel, TheServiceStarcloud https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi2Zp9Yt7qtn-CYxKfUEvkQ?view_as=subscriber. I will advertise both the Instagram post review and YouTube video on my Twitter @ArloBrielle https://twitter.com/ArloBrielle to increase awareness as well.

REVIEW FOR FIRE WATCHER DOG HARNESS 2.0, size Medium, color Coyote Brown

We want to thank One Tigris for giving us a chance to try their products.

Harness material is heavy duty. Color is true coyote brown. The inside mesh lining is well made and well thought of to keep dogs cooler. Superb stitching, no loose threads. We especially like the stainless steel D-rings which are heavy duty to prevent breaking when a dog tries to pull and the handle at the back of the harness. Adequate space for patches and pouches. The buckles are heavy duty and well made but a little bit hard to unbuckle.

We tried it on both of our dogs, 60lbs and 40lbs. The harness fits both of them with a little adjusting on the smaller pup. Easy to put on, like putting on a shirt. Both dogs are comfortable walking around with the harness on. Does not chafe around the dog’s armpit. Overall this harness is awesome. 5/5. One of the best harnesses we had. Will definitely get another one for our other dog.

REVIEW FOR FIRE WATCHER DOG HARNESS 2.0, size Medium, color Black

Video Review (Release Date:11/21/2020):

Thank you so much for letting us test this harness out! We absolutely LOVED it! I have such a hard time fitting things to my dog, but this contoured to his deep but narrow chest perfectly! He was very comfortable in the harness, and I enjoyed the thought that it seems to be made of the usual heavy-duty, never-going-to-rip One Tigris material. It never seemed to get too hot or too cold for him, which was great. The black color matched all of our other black One Tigris items, so that was also good. The patch space on the sides was perfect, and the molle was convenient for our tactical items. The handle being across the top of the harness like it is is also super helpful! I really like that design. The d-rings on the back and the front of the harness felt sturdy and I was super happy with how nice they looked compared to plastic clips. The little velcro spot on the front was fun as well for morale patches, too.

One of my favorite features was the fact that the two harness pieces came apart easily and completely so that people with dogs who may struggle with gear can have a MUCH easier time getting this harness on their pup. We personally don't have an issue with this, but it does take less time to clip it on and off since we can just attach one clip to keep it together and put it one and clip the other four clips, or slip it on with two clips, or whatever works in the moment. It's so nice.

The only thing I would say was a bit of a negative was the bungee cord in the back being over the patch space. It did mean any patches that were put on and maybe got stuck a bit would be ripped off by the bungee moving. But, it rarely would happen if you're using large enough patches and are careful to put them under the bungee.

Overall, we REALLY enjoyed testing this harness out and I'm super excited for our video review to come out!

I would love to try the new harness! We have tested some gear in the past. I would love to test the new fire watch harness because we have a few harnesses (mini mojo, submariner, the harness with the poop bag holder, the mini back pack and the original fire watch harness). We LOVE them but I think they would be even better if they didn’t move around as much. I’m curious to see how the new fit is.
About us: I’m a veteran and my spouse is still in. I have a 3 year pitbull that is my hiking buddy. There’s nothing she lives more than to explore new places together. We live in NH and are surrounded by mountains and lakes. We love 1TG for its sturdiness, looks but also it’s practicality! Sky’s got a rock solid recall and is always under voice control on hikes BUT she is fearful of some dogs and people so I love being able to have patches on so I don’t get asked a bunch of questions. It’s also great for public outings because people give her the space she needs.

No, I have not been a part of the 1TG program before. I am in the process of opening up a dog training facility for obedience work as well as service dogs. I recently purchased the Submariner harness and so far it's the best vest I've used in the last year. I would really like to test more of your equipment on more dogs and be able to recommend the appropriate vest for there needs. I will make sure to test the equipment daily on multiple dogs and provide feedback via video or pictures

Hello! I have not tested your gear before, but would love to participate! I currently have one of your older harnesses. It’s a little big on my dog so I’ve been looking for a new one. This one would be perfect! We go hiking a lot. But I also use the harness for patches asking people to give us space.
