Andy, there are more bags in this range - you want me to continue to the next bicycle bag idea?
For now we would like to optimize this design. We want to know what system can make it be fasten tightly so it will not swing or move. To the new idea you mentioned, what do you get?

How about changing the top into a bag and we can also add some reflective straps on it?

Absolutely, but I was thinking of a removable bag that fits on the existing velcro. With a removable bag you can still carry whatever it is you normally carry “on” the carrier with side pouches. If you have a fixed bag on top, that option is deleted...

If you are concerned about fixing the sides to the bike: ad a few extra grommet-holes and run a bungy-cord through it. With this the user can use the bungy to fix the sides any which way he wants. Until now I found no problems with how my pad is fixed to any bike. (It is on my youngest daughter’s school bike at the moment and hets used (abused) every day. Believe me the bikes gets abused especially in the bike-pen at school.

An expandable bag to fit on the carrier is an absolute progression - we can start to brainstorm how this can take shape.
No wgat I had in mind is to expand where we fit bags. A handle-bar pouch with place for mobile-phone, navigation or small tablet will be my first focus.
From there we can progress to a “triangle bag” for in the frame.

Oh my goodness @Andy Z. bro ur design kills every single bicycle bag in the market! I want to steal your design and now go straight to the sampling room and ask the tailors make one prototype!!!

We have an old product that looks like what pic 3rd shows, and after doing research on it I found out at that time this product did not have a proper name(it is actually a tube bag but named saddle bag), meaning confusion was made to our customers. What's more, detailed information was not given. All the elements make the sales performance on this product a disaster. I really want to pick up this line again!

We will do this right this time, Rin.

I saw the triangle structure of your bicycle, which seems not available to attach this kind of pouch:unsure:
