It can be directly attached to the ROC Chest Harness which will also add an extra back pocket. View attachment 5729 View attachment 5730 View attachment 5731
Yeah I know but at this point the pouch with the velcro on the inside is almost as capable as the rig itself in terms of capacity and modularity. I was thinking to add some loops just as these here:

That way, if the pouch is to be attached to let say the ROC harness, the buckles could be removed and the pouch "molled" on. But if one does not carry a chest rig for a living already like most civilians, adding buckles and straps could make this a standalone phone rig just like this:

Not related to the admin panel but last photo reminded me of Helikon Numbat pack, the thing is awesome. Chest rig when hiking or mountaineering? No, thank you. This pouch used like Numbat? Yes, please.

I have submitted a few ideas on a placard design that didn’t seem to spark much interest. An entire redesign of this flip open pouch would make more sense. I personally don’t think a stand alone phone rig would be as useful as it is inconvenient for a hiker, however for rock climbing it may have a use but I don’t know how well it would sell. I think a chest rig/placard using the swift clip system and a much smaller version of the admin pouch would be best.

I'm thinking more of an admin style chest rig for maps, pens, compass, chem lights etc. that can also hold a phone instead of just a pure phone pouch.

We use chest rigs for Search and Rescue Operations and having phone mounted in a rig with some small stuff instead of having to go for a pack is very convenient. Almost nobody on our team is wearing molle capable rigs so we wouldn't be able to attach this pouch anywhere. Thats why I was thinking of adding strap loops.
