Yes, I would suggest making it wider, and adding loop to the back as well. I would suggest making a insert system, so that mags can also be placed in the admin panel. I found tons of use out of this. I was able to mount pistol mags or AR mags in here via the bungee. I was also able to set up my phone to record but it didn’t work well due to camera angle.

Make the front nylon strap longer to help secure items or phone. A elastic and nylon insert for magazines could work well here. AR mag insert or double SMG/pistol mag inserts... there are several tool insert possibilities also.

:ROFLMAO: LOL. I didn't expect it can be used as mag pouches.

Does the camera go upper than the original level?

Quite a creative way to use this panel. seems we can make it more compatible for more stuff instead of only for the phone.

Did you try it in the normal way as we design for?

So the changes are:
1. extend the front velcro strap;
2. make it wider;
Q: from both sides? Any reasons for it? How long do you think?
3. add loop to the back;
Q: To make it more tightly?

The back inside panel*

The reason for this is to secure the magazine inserts upright, and add more mounting options.

I was able to use the phone the way it was intended but I think this may not be the best solution to mount the phone inside, but I find the bungee useful.

The height of the pouch is good , I would make it wide enough for pistol mags to fit better.

You could widen the spine or bottom of panel, then widen the top, and side zippers. It would need to be wide enough for the mags and the inserts that they are put in to fit inside the panel. The back should have two more Molle straps to help secure it.

So it's to make both sides the loop (Velcro) material;

How long do you think about the extra width?

My issue with bungee on phone is that the cinching device may impact screen of phone without a case.
Do you mean the bungee affecting the use of the phone?

We will do that if we decide to have this new function. I will discussed this with @Momo

This looks very promissing and the applications of having a phone with tactical software on you go far beyond just shooting and recording. Super excited!

In my opinion going much wider than the length of the phone would make it kinda cumbersome. I´m thinking that a chest mountable phone pouch on a chest rig could be very easily used even for navigation and even emergency medical work ( https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Dis...-friend-batdok-uses-technology-to-save-lives/ ) and would not necessarily be used for storing magazines and other large items for a lot of people.
Mountainbikers, Hikers, Climbers, Paragliding Operators and Boatsmen could also use this during their activities with software such as maps, communication and reconnaissance apps.
Just my 2 cents :)

The widening of the pouch would help accommodate more than mags, and would make it extremely versatile. This fit well on the front webbing of a triple magpouch, and is how I’d recommend it. I would like to see an insert system that would work with this. I also used it extensively when I was doing a few bail enforcement jobs. It allowed me to keep information, and pictures on suspects and was great for admin purposes. Maps, documents, phones + power bank and charger. All worked excellent.

I see... so you want to make it a more universal pouch. I was thinking more strictly of a phone rig.
Maybe if buckles or at least the loops for a buckle adapter kit would be attached to the pouches edges it could become a standalone chest rig/placard that has molle to attach to other pouches? Then it would have about the size of the Spiritus Systems Rig and could be used both as a selfcontained chest rig by hikers etc who don´t run vests/Plate carriers as well as an add on pouch on LBE.
