I am wondering why you add the zipper? Since the buckles can close it, also, what about using velcro instead of buckles? Maybe velcro is easier to close and open? If you have different opinion pls tell me.
I apologize, I meant to suggest either a zipper or a buckle. The zipper is the most secure. I also feel a zipped up panel helps against weather. Velcro for me is louder to undo than a zipper, and Velcro can eventually lose its effectiveness.

Thank you for your effort! On my opinion, both options, buckle and zipper, can't resovle the problem we talked above, it can't be opened and closed by one hand. Do you think this point is necessary for this gear? I mean if users really care about to open and close it conveniently?

A zipper with, “Zipper pulls” should be able to close this one handed i think.
The issue is that maybe, “shock cords” getting in the way when closing the zipper.I think the bigger problem would be not securing the phone. If you were to play outdoors, I think a zippered pouch offers the best protection.(crawling or prone may cause unwanted dirt or debris)

My only thought is a window for camera, however because the camera placement is different on different phones I am not sure how to work out a solution for this problem. Also a side note. Water and elements resistance. Do you feel it could be taken out in the wild during bad weather? If the answer is yes, then it should be ready to go.

If you mean to make the front camera of the phone work, I think it will be difficult and it will change a lot based the current sturcture. It can fit different phone sizes by reseting 4 conner velcro loop straps now. If we made a window, one of the loop straps can't work as the velcro area is cut out and there is no place to set this strap.

It's not water proof but I think it can be water resistent.
