To wrap up my review, I used the New and improved Clawhammer extensively this summer while working on the trails. As with other OneTigris products I have no issues with material used or craftsmanship. The bag was put the through the ringer and survived. As mentioned previously, I would make the following changes:
-more padding in the shoulder strap and possibly make it curved as @Sandspoor suggested.
-add PALS webbing to the front of the shoulder strap to allow a phone case or similar pouch to be attached.
-possibly consider a waterproof cover. Can be made with material that the Black Orca bags are made of and could be stored in the hidden pocket when not used.
-I personally don’t need as much Velcro on the front, and for my use on the trail the Velcro collects debris. But if the feeling that this will appeal to the masses I can live with it.
-I haven’t had any clear response on my modular pack system, but this new Clawhammer is very close to the size of the front pouch on the Rover 50. If there was a secure way to attach the Clawhammer to the Rover it could be a stand alone sling pack or part of a modular system.
