Oldkiwi sir. Its not always an easy thing to openly admit something like suffering from ptsd. I have many friends and fsmily here in Canada who have served or serve now. Thank you for your service, thank you to your family and be safe. We over here appreciate you sir.
Due to my service in the military I have developed PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and while I am able to function at 100% the majority of the time there are occasions when the "Black Dog" comes calling and I am overcome with anxiety (panic attacks) & depression. Luckily I am now able to recognize the early warning signs and manage these attacks before they result in me being totally impacted.
