The laser cut molle under the cordage on the picture does not need to be there. Not familiar with how the holes are cut but I know they are stitched to avoid fraying. I assumed they were punched and not laser cut.
It could look like this, or you can have a horizontal and vertical row. Making a waffle pattern. Each portion would be fully adjustable. Instead of snaps you could Velcro around the backside of all four edges.
I totally agree about Velcro, the bungee shock cord panel and the molle panel wold be the only ones with snaps. So you could snap the bungee panel into the bag for equipment that won’t fit with typical molle. Odd sizes and shapes etc.
Howdy folks, the netting is a good idea, however. Unless there is a newer style netting out there, it doesn’t hold up very well. We had similar netting products in our aid bags in Iraq. By the end of the deployment 90% of the netting was gone or barely hanging on.
